OR HAGANUZ Har Sinai

The Or Haganuz Har Sinai is a port-style dessert wine made with Cabernet Sauvignon (80%) and Merlot (20%). Frozen at the winery for 3 days following harvest, the grapes are then crushed and pressed and the juice is then warmed by an open flame, fueled by wood harvested from olive trees. After fermentation the wine is barrel aged outdoors in French oak for 12 months. This process leads to a sweet red wine, deep ruby in color, with aromas of raisins, cherries, plums, coffee, toasted oak and dark chocolate. This full bodied wine offers complex flavors with soft tannins and balanced acidity leading to a long and pleasant finish.
